Animation Desk™ for iPhone App Reviews

This app is an awesome app to have especially for aspiring animators( like myself) its enjoyable despite the minor setbacks if your looking to have a laugh or draw, look no further

Animation desk has come along way. I have animation desk and animation creator for both iPad and iPhone, and more and more animation desk is my go app for brainstorming ideas. I know this might be a crazy request but I will be able to totally embrace whichever app adds audio paste or open in for audio files (.wavs .aifs ect). Currently audio is a little cumbersome but with the right audio adapter and a second device I work through non-native audio import decently. I never use iTunes to import anything... Way too much hassle. All things considered, animation desk rocks pretty hard.

I cant open the app after the update it keeps crashing

Why is it so slooow and fuzzy? No retina support after all this time? I expected to get tons of stuff for this price, but nope, very few tools and just keeps CRASHING! Why on earth is that? Clear to me these people have given up on this and moved on, Im moving on too.

Great app! BUT when you delete multiple frames they reappear as blank frames and you have to delete them twice! Great waste of time. You should make a trash can that you can drag and drop so you wont have to worry about them reappearing. A recovery box would be great like the trash can for finding a frame you deleted by accident.

Just too buggy for me to rely on. Refund?

This app is easily the best hand-drawn animation app available. It is definitely worth the price and great for beginners. Just buy it!

I like the app but how do you open a new project

This app is so awesome the only thing it needs is to be optimized for ipad other than that it is so cool!

Amazing app. Easy to use and brings out an amazing animation whether done with zero effort or with a ton! There is no way to improve it! Just amazing! Worth it for purchase!

when I zoom in to get detail it leaves a mark from the selected tool.Please fix it keep the good work.

I am not an artist by any means but was able to figure out how to make a small straight line grow a frame at a time and roll itself into a ball only to bounce against a triangle and pop (back into a small straight line). Seriously, if I figured that out, you can use this.

I am unable to figure out how to move into a new project or label an existing one within the app. is this by design? must I clear each frame one by one to generate a new project?

I like this app. It lets me make videos then post them onto You Tube.

no file system to store more than one project. zooming is impossible without having to delete the marks that appear when doing so. undo is buried inside a menu. I could go on and on. very VERY frustrating. in spite of all that, this is still the best animation app available right now. thats a sad commentary. someone could make a lot of money creating a similar app with the basic functionality that animation desk is lacking.

This would be a great app if you actually had any control of what you are drawing lol, but that may never happen on a touch screen. Some glitches but frustratingly fun to play around with. Nice effort on the app though. Keep at it i feel like itl get better.

This is a really fun app to animate and play around with. This has all the things that you need to animate (for me). I find almost nothing wrong with this app. However I give it a 4 because I know that there will be newer updates to it and make this a perfect app for everyone to enjoy.
